Fit 4 All
We are encouraging people to Get Fit, Have Fun and meet friends at Leisure Centre's in Oxfordshire.
Two Leisure Centres have been involved in a pilot project to ensure centre users with a physical disability, learning disability or Mental Health Issue have a good experience at the leisure centres. They are trying to ensure staff are approachable, friendly and welcoming, activities meet your needs and that you give us your feedback.
They are trying to ensure facilities are welcoming and able to cater for all. Each Centre will have a Fit 4 All Champion who will focus on ensuring the centre is inclusive and welcoming, as well as having an access guide available.
A number of partners have come together to support this project including Oxfordshire Sports Partnership, Oxfordshire County Council, Oxford City Council, West Oxfordshire District Council, Fusion Lifestyle and Nexus Community.
The pilot project will take place in two leisure centres in Oxfordshire, one in a more rural District and the other a more urban District, these are:
