Gilly Bettis - Netball Development Officer
Gilly has worked for Bucks Sport since 2005 as Netball Development Officer. Her key achievements include: helping 5 clubs to accreditation; setting up new clubs and a junior league in Milton Keynes; creating teams for the Bucks Youth Games; High 5 workshops and umpire courses and supporting clubs around the county as well as running successful Netball Academies in Bucks for the last 3 years.
Gilly Bettis will be working 10 hours a week on secondment from Bucks Sport on the following work areas:
- Netball County Academies
- Club Development (including CAPS Clubmark) and School Club Links
- Extending Activities projects relating to Netball.
Gilly is a keen netball player and club chair for Flames Netball Club in Aylesbury; they compete in the Aylesbury District Netball League. She also runs the Aylesbury Junior Netball League and a Level Two Coach and C Award Umpire.
