Wheels for All Oxfordshire

Wheels for All Oxfordshire provides opportunities for people to access inclusive cycling.

The next day for adults is taking place on Friday 7th June at Horspath Athletics Track, Oxford from 10am-2pm. The event at Horspath is aimed at adults with a disability (Learning or Physical). Sessions will take place on the first and third Fridays of each month. Following the one on June 7th, sessions will then take place on:

21st June

5th July

All sessions going ahead as planned are dependent on suitable weather conditions.

In 2013 there will be £3 per person per session charge with all of the income obtained being spent on Wheels for All Oxfordshire including the development of a fleet of cycles. Currently the majority of the cycles being used are loaned from Cycling Projects, the current cycle fleet can be viewed on this page.

The Wheels for All initiative is a nationally recognised programme run by Cycling Projects whose vision is to ensure that cycling is accessible for all. By using specially adapted cycles, the activities are both physically and mentally stimulating and above all fun for everyone involved.

The Wheels for All centre and satellite centres will be equipped with specially adapted cycles and Wheels for All trained leaders, who have the knowledge and confidence to work with adapted cycles for participants to enjoy the benefits of cycling.
