Chris Freeman - Managing Director

After gaining a degree in sport I worked in a variety of jobs including Youth Worker, Leisure Centre Attendant, Pool Attendant and Freelance Sports Coach. I then started as a Community Sports Leader at Stockport MBC before moving on to a variety of Sports Development and Leisure positions throughout the Country.

I was working at Cherwell District Council when I was seconded as Project Officer in July 2004 to set up the Oxfordshire Sports Partnership, and then subsequently started as Managing Director in May 2006. My role involves developing and managing the Partnership's strategy, performance framework, governance structure, partnerships, finance, projects and overall management of the core team members.

With 2 young children I don't have much time for hobbies but do try and get my 5x30 in each week by playing golf, walking , going to the gym and working as hired hand at our 'lotty'.
